Show Notes

Behold! It is Funkadelic, it's not of your world, but fear not, it will do you no harm. This week More of That begin their dissection of the first incarnation of George Clinton’s Parliament-Funkadelic with a look at the self-titled Funkadelic album from 1970. Do we figure out what soul is? Which song is the true first Funkadelic song? WHO IS SINGING!!?! Some mysteries won't be solved, but we try our best to answer the nastiest ones…or at least play with them.

Our opening music is a song by us called "Never Say Never Again." You can find our band, More Of That, wherever you stream music (including Bandcamp).

Closing audio is from The Mighty Boosh.

DISCOGRAPHOLOGY T-SHIRTS are available now and they're awesome! Hit us up anywhere online to buy one now!

Pregame: Undercover Covers

Ever heard a song you didn't know was a cover? It happens to the best of us. The best of us have believed for all the world that "Hurt" was a Johnny Cash original, when in reality it was a Ministry song. Anyway, we ran down some of our favorite "undercover covers" in addition to the usual rundown of new music and vinyl! At the end, we reveal our next palette cleanser, an album with a beloved Undercover Cover of its own! Our opening song is "Never Say Never Again" by us, More Of That. You can listen to us on all major streaming platforms and on Bandcamp. Ace of Base - The Sign

It's Blake's turn to choose a palate cleanser! The Sign has a place in all of our hearts and on skating rinks everywhere. Techno-reggae Swedes Ace of Base provided the soundtrack to much of Blake's childhood, and were some of the first albums he ever owned. We examine the not-so-timeless classic that is The Sign within. Much mirth was had. Our opening song is "Never Say Never Again" by us, More Of That. You can listen to us on all major streaming platforms and on Bandcamp. Closing music was a cover of "All That She Wants" by We Are Like The Spider (Logan's old band). At The Drive-In - Relationship of Command

More Of That discusses At The Drive-In's "Vaya" EP before diving deep into 2000's "Relationship of Command." This is a big one, folks. An all-timer. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame should consult us before inducting ATDI, because we've got the goods! I don't think it's spoiling much to say that YOU SHOULD LISTEN TO THIS ALBUM. Some say it's the record that caused Chet Atkins to finally hang up his axe, and cede the title of Mr. Guitar to his noodly-legged superior, one Omar Rodríguez-López. Tags: Big Day Out, Limp Bizkit, Mudvayne, Ross Robinson (let's see how those terms affect our SEO!) Next time we tackle a reunion of sorts with "in•ter a•li•a" and "Diamanté". Our opening song is "Never Say Never Again" by More of That. You can listen to us on all major streaming platforms and on [Bandcamp.](http://moreofthat.bandcamp.com) Closing music is...a surprise.
